Storm Babet brought Angus its wettest day on record since 1891, what followed was one of the wettest winters on record which meant many crops couldn't get planted. Beaver didn't do this, a changing climate did and farming must adapt.

The non-lethal measures that were trialled in this case was to tie silver ribbon to the chimneys most of which blew away a few days later. These nesting gulls may be a nuisance to some but that is not a licensable reason to destroy the nests of an amber listed species.

Lesser black-backed gulls screaming in the estate where I live today as their nests are removed, most with eggs 2-3weeks into incubation. @NatureScot how is this licenced lethal control authorised under the tighter guidance issued on gulls? 1/2
