So today was the day after almost 20 years with @o2 it was time to port my number over to @giffgaff after data and call issues due to a faulty mast I figured paying less for a phone service and in turn getting more data for less was the way to go as did my wife😀

2/2 at this point I said yes verified by email that I wanted to do this my o2 account then linked without error I finally deleted the app reinstalled and was able to login problem solved! 🎉

*Update to my #o2 #vmo2 account linking issue after more non help from customer services I fixed my own issue I created a new vm I'd using a different email address I was then prompted to enter my mobile number & at this point I was asked if I wanted to transfer my account...1/2

Has anyone with a login issue with #o2 #virginmediao2 managed to have this successfully resolved by customer services I made 2 calls now and still no joy... I will be leaving if they can't sort out a basic fundemental like managing my account online

@JP_Galea @O2 Yes! As of yesterday when I loaded the o2 app I had to go through the the link to create a virginmedia account and link my o2 at this point it failed! To link not happy if #o2 don't fix this I will be leaving I may as well be with giffgaff at least I could view my account
