Our Swans have returned! Thanks to our volunteers for planting Willow trees to create a refuge area for water loving birds on the lake.

Great fun today helping Silverdale Angling Club add 1000 new fish to Southern Pool. Small Carp are specially grown for restocking like this.

Started releasing water from lake yesterday to treat invasive plant Crassula. Lapwings and other wading birds already like new muddy areas.

Saw the first Coltsfoot in flower on the park today, soon these yellow flowers will be widespread round the park. Spring is on the way...
