On the subject of things Ted Chiang said that are NOT being twisted into strange reductive arguments, I really love the idea of sci-fi being tied to a feeling of awe. When I read sci-fi, I usually do crave a sense of wonder. Leave me humbled by nature, the stars, the universe!
Sleep when the baby sleeps!
Do the laundry when the baby does the laundry!
Wash the dishes when the baby washes dishes!
Finish your book when your baby finishes their book!
