Last week, I was honored to receive the Giovanni Sartori Prize for the best article published in the Italian Political Science Review, Volume 53 (2023).

As a female researcher and feminist, I have dedicated myself to challenging the systems portrayed as 'gender-neutral,' but made by men and for men. I have also faced - and continue to face - personal and professional struggles vis-à-vis resistance to overcoming social injustices.

In this paper, Robin and I explore the life-cycle of Momentum, dialoguing with the literature invested in highlighting the democratic short-comings of platform organisations, and analysing the effectiveness of the 'voice' strategy emerged to overcome the democratic deficit.
