How about trying some of the walks in Caradog’s Campaign, an 11 stage, 124 mile circular walk around south Wales. Plenty of time to do them all this year 😀

Out in the Cambrian Mountains today for a hike to Nantsyddion near Ysbyty Cynfyn, #Ceredigion.

Here, in February 1856, Mr & Mrs Hughes gave birth to the first recorded quadruplets in Wales.

Within a month, all 4, their brother, sister, and father were dead. 👇

@mikekohnstamm On the Merthyr valley, I think I was keen to take in Aberfan and Trevithick’s tramroad, so that’s why I dropped down there rather than lower down towards QY. Also, was trying to stick close to the heads of the valleys where possible, given the second half keeps far south

@mikekohnstamm It’s so long since I put some of these routes together, I’ve forgotten the exact reasons why they go where they go. Sonetimes there are options, sometimes you’re lucky to find one legal and passable route (never mind pleasant!) from one valley to the next...

@mikekohnstamm Hi Mike. Great minds think alike on continuing to Neath. There’s one more leg, to Amanford, to come as well. Then I hope to get the intro done for the Abergavenny - Amanford linear (7 legs, 98 miles) up fairly soon
