@_georgebaran@Rainmaker1973 Classic example of "human exceptionalism". You seem determined to assert that the form of consciousness that you can access is the only one possible. The real question is, is it?

Has a point! Could have also added that the systemic default is set to kill ambition (& consequently, the chances of innovation)!!
@garrytan Hi...I have a quick question: is it accurate to say that YC is more favorably disposed to multi-founder start-ups as compared to single-founder ones? Thanx
@bcherny Is there any way to make sure that project related discussions (within a specific project) initiated either on the desktop or on the Mobile app can be reflected without any loss in each app? There is no seamless handover & I just lost quite a bit of work in the process.
@SpencerGuard@LiamSCollins@smallwars Don't you folks get tired of writing the same thing over and over again albeit in different ways? At this point, it's getting boring!
@rohanpaul_ai Not convincing. Did u, for eg, "surrender" ur calculative abilities when the iconic TI "scientific calculator" came along? Did u "surrender" ur writing abilities when word processors came along? Or, u did adjust to what Licklider referred to as a more symbiotic mode of operating?
@Iyervval Given the terrifying bombing that the US/Israeli forces are heaping upon the Iranians, I am reminded of Konrad Kellen's observations regarding the Vietcong soldiers during the Vietnam war.
@hayesdev_ Interesting presentation but he glosses over quite a few things and is way off base with his discussion of 'the history of innovation'. But I do see the point of trying to be a large fish in a small pond argument.
@LuizaJarovsky This article elides the critical issue which begins with Turing's experiment. The problem is not with the "Turing Test". It's with how it was and continues to be misconstrued and misrepresented.
@ShashiTharoor@the_hindu When you link "research" to monetization (which you do at least implicitly by invoking the private sector), you are not really talking about research. You are talking about enslaving academia and research to capitalist forces. This detracts from the former's freedom & impact
Concerning to see India's FP in tatters. In 2022, I applauded the EAM on his comments at the Bratislava Forum. In 36 months, Indian military successes in Op Sindoor notwithstanding, Pak, B'desh, SL, & Nepal have turned hot. This is a failure of the FP establishment and of R&AW.
@ShashiTharoor@udfkerala That's easy Mr. Tharoor. You misunderstand what this platform is for. It is not to write "essays" or exhibit your virtuosity with the language. It is how pithy you can be! Get your message across within 153 or whatever characters the previous iteration of this platform allowed.
@IntuitMachine Without undermining the benefit of yr model, isn't this just a better scaffolding to elicit better reasoning out of a static model? IOW, it is an exercise of optimization of a program space under fixed rules with external semantics and criteria? In short, a different query model.
