I think if Creative Scotland was seen to have broad and consistent support, then winning more funding, which must be the answer, would be more likely.

This is a remarkable chart. World cereal yield compared to population and land use. Production continues to increase with essentially the same land use. This is sustainable intensification, same land, more product, thanks to genetics, management, and technology.
