Is the "arm's length" approach to public funding of culture coming to an end?

But would it not be much more useful if the powerful and those with standing chose to defend Creative Scotland above all?
I think if Creativeย Scotland was seen to have broad and consistent support, then winning more funding, which must be the answer, would be more likely.
I wish the Dutch people well, but the manoeverings of the parties, which demonstrably lack democratic mandate, for me, illustrate a persistent flaw in the vaunted 'fairness' of proportional representation.

This is a remarkable chart. World cereal yield compared to population and land use. Production continues to increase with essentially the same land use. This is sustainable intensification, same land, more product, thanks to genetics, management, and technology.
