@NomadicBrahmin Strongly doubt that claim, especially in NW. Punjabi Nais are similar to Gujjars and Potohari rajputs, while Tarkhans are carbon copy of Punjabi Brahmins. It seems like they branched from same genepool rather than Brahmins marrying outside.
@NomadicBrahmin@BhargavClan@ABu9283792 Depends, they have as much diversity as other groups in terms of admixture. Although they are slightly more inbred than other larger groups.
@5aab001@Panchaap_ Sikh and Hindu Lohar/Tarkhans do not intermarry. So it's interesting the muslim counterparts are mixing into one. I collected the 2 Punjabi Mughal samples in that run, they're son and mom. Confirmed of Tarkhan background.
Who did the run btw? the distance is pre bad.
@Panchaap_@5aab001 Here, there's two, both Sikhs.

these are the only two Nai samples we have from Punjab.
@Panchaap_@5aab001 There's only 1 Punjabi Nai sample, who is sikh, scores like Gujjars and Potohari rajputs. Haven't come across any that was like UC south Indian.
@5aab001@Panchaap_ They actually are related to Brahmins lol. That's how a lot of Brahmin samples were found initially because they matched on gedmatch with Hindu/Sikh Tarkhan matches. We don't have any Lohar samples, so no idea what they score like.
@HazzadorGamin Xbox fumbled hard with this, by losing the marketing deal. PS5 will sell even faster now because average joe will think it's exclusive to PS.
@HazzadorGamin@jronald@nib95_@shinobi602 Shinobi has huge bias for PS, and has shared unverified fake news about xbox in past. It makes sense why he follows nib lol
