It should come NATURALLY for a man to want to have fun with you, take you out, feed you, do nice things for you, and compliment you.
You should never have to teach someone to do that.
When it was raining inside for MONTHS that was a base game issue, when the SIMS TEAM deleted pregnancy out the game after a patch that was a base game issue, file corruptions leading back to the FOR RENT pack from the game itself, so please🙂 bffr
Twitch ads can be annoying, but they’re required and there’s only so much a streamer can do to control them. So here’s a quick guide for viewers AND streamers:
🔹Click a stream and get an ad? These are pre-roll ads. To disable these, streamers have to run at MINIMUM 3 minutes of ads per hour. So at the very LOWEST, viewers will see 1 minute to a 1 minute and a half of ads every 30 minutes.
Pre-rolls are really disliked by viewers because it can be disruptive if you’ve just sat down and want to watch OR if you’re a channel surfer.
🔹Running the minimum of 3 minutes of ads per hour to avoid pre-rolls? Viewers also don’t like this. The ad format usually shows “Ad 1/8 | 10 seconds”which can be off putting since you’re not seeing the actual ad length (and who wants to count?). It’s not 5 minutes or even 7 minutes like some people exaggerate, but with no estimation, it can feel like so.
🔹The maximum minutes of ads per hour is 10 minutes. The maximum ad length itself at any given time is 3 minutes, which starts when the streamer sets their minutes of ads per hour to 6 minutes and 30 seconds + beyond.
The highest frequency at which you could see a 3 minute ad length is every 8 minutes. So, if a streamer has 10 minutes of ads per hour, you’d have a 3 minute ad break every 8 minutes. Most streamers don’t have their ads set this high.
🔹YES, ads can be controlled by streamers in some ways, but not as much as people think. We’ve already established that streamers can set the minutes of ads per hour, but additionally, they can control when the ads plays. Sometimes.
Streamers are given the option to “snooze” ads for 5 minutes, but only 3 times maximum before an ad HAS to play. I have my ads scheduled automatically, but I also use the ad manager to snooze/run ads with the flow of my stream. If I’ve just finished a game, need a potty break, or have to step away, I’ll run an ad. If a game is taking longer than expected, I’ll snooze the ads. And even though I try, that doesn’t mean it’s always perfect.
Most streamers don’t manage their ads the way I do because it’s not really explained that well from Twitch, it’s not super obvious, and some people just don’t want to look it up either. Hopefully this can help clear up confusion viewers have, but also help streamers manage their ads better!
