The tragic deaths of Florence Hangsing and Olivia Chongloi remain a painful wound in the hearts of the Kuki community. We remember them today and extend our deepest condolences to their families, relatives, and loved ones.

For the Kuki community, this case represents not only the loss of two young women but also an ongoing call for truth, justice, and accountability. The pain and grief surrounding their deaths continue to be felt by thousands who believe that every victim deserves a fair investigation and every family deserves answers.

Despite repeated appeals from Kuki civil society organisations, community leaders, women's groups, and concerned citizens, many continue to feel that justice has not been fully delivered. We therefore renew our call upon the concerned authorities to ensure a thorough, impartial, and transparent investigation into all aspects of the case and to bring any persons found responsible before the law.

The safety, dignity, and rights of women must never be compromised. Every citizen, regardless of community, ethnicity, or background, deserves equal protection under the Constitution and the rule of law.

We urge the Government of Manipur, the Government of India, law enforcement agencies, human rights institutions, and all concerned authorities to ensure that truth prevails, justice is served, and accountability is not delayed.

The memory of Florence Hangsing and Olivia Chongloi must not be forgotten. Their families deserve answers. Their community deserves justice.

Disturbing reports from Henglep Sub-Division, CRPF (Cobra) opened fire and used explosives against village volunteers on guard duty near Songkong village, Dated: 16-06-2026, resulting in the death of Mr Lenminsang of Kolchung village. This Arambai Terrorist Tenggol leader, Kouronganba Khuman who already has multiple NIA cases filed against him for leading armed mobs and looting state armories has now suddenly become a "bomb expert." His Facebook Live, broadcast just a day after the Tronglaobi incident, is a massive red flag.

How does he know every single technical detail about the device that killed those two poor children and the other one that was immediately destroyed under his orders?
This is the first time such a makeshift bomb with remote-detonation wiring has been used since the violence started in May 2023.
If this technology is brand new to the conflict, how can he be so familiar with its inner workings?
He’s describing the circuitry, the fuse, and the remote trigger like he’s reading from his own instruction manual. You don’t become an expert on a "first-of-its-kind" weapon overnight unless you were in the workshop when it was built.

By showing off his "knowledge," he isn’t proving the Kukis did it; he’s proving that the Arambai Tenggol is testing deadly prototypes on their own backyard just to manufacture a narrative.
He isn't just a bystander; he is providing a full blueprint of the crime. He’s describing the ignition method and the specific materials before a forensic team has even finished a report.

It’s like a murderer giving a lecture on the exact depth of a wound before the doctor has even performed the autopsy.
It’s the same old pattern how meiteis reveal the answers without an official even asking a question.
