@laulok@pcpa_org 2 weeks into my new role as a practice pharmacist in the late 90’s I nearly gave up as I didn’t know what I was doing! 30 years on and a varied career & now ICB lead for Community Pharmacy Optometry and Dentistry I’m glad @AmandaCPharmacy talked me into staying just a bit longer
@laulok So I wasn’t getting on with it so have moved onto Patrick Lencioni’s The 6 Types of Working Genius. That’s much more relevant to me and is challenging my thoughts on leading me team. Patrick Lencioni is one of my go to’s so always recommend. I will be having a team day on this!
@laulok I gave Malcolm Gladwell’s Tipping Point to one of my team. I have asked her to out my email in it and when she passes it on add her email in. The idea is we will create a community of people perhaps unknown to each other, who can discuss the ideas in the book and how we use them
@clarehm123 So many exceptional sportspeople only seem to be average human beings. This is one of the rare case where an exceptional sportsperson was an even more exceptional human being. The world is a better place for having had him in it.
@Jon_LondonNHS It’s not just ok to not be ok I would suggest it’s normal to have periods when we are not ok. It is the sign of a good leader that says I’m not ok and shares that openly and honestly with their team. The impact it has on your team is fantastic. https://t.co/o6aL9vCgOA
@laulok We don’t think Woody had been socialised at all. As he is anxious in a car, will lunge at traffic if on a road walk and when we first got him he would snarl and bark at sparrows as if they were serial killers! 😳It’s going to be a long journey but small steps and we’ll get there
“From January, Six Nations teams will have to avoid kit clashes which could negatively impact colour blind viewers.”for most people this might seem insignificant @laulok
@SouthernWater And just to update this a contractor arrived on Saturday and sorted the issue in under 4 hours. So thank you for addressing this. It does ask the question if it takes 4 hours to repair why were 4 houses without significant water pressure for a whole week? Despite regular chasing?
@SouthernWater we have now been with reduced water pressure for over a week and despite 3 calls no progress on repairs. The pressure is so low that our combi boiler fails to trigger for hot water, taps and shower upstairs do not deliver water. This your expected level of service?
