At your next visit, ask for it to be documented that you do not consent to assessment or treatment solely by a Physician Associate/Anaesthetic Associate.

Last night a male involved in a domestic incident started making threats to officers as they arrived including one of our handlers. We introduced the male to PD Ike who displayed how we will respond to violent threats. The male quickly seen sense & was arrested! well done Ike 👏

@EE Only 6+ times. The last 48 hr ago revealed for the first time (in 4 months) that there was a system billing issue affecting many customers which you are and should be solved in the next 7-10 days. I’ll believe it when I see it. Your customer service is a shambles🤯🤯🤯

…..which prompts me to ask a Q I’ve pondered for a while. (As patient and as relative I’ve met a no. of paramedics and been impressed by almost all. (If U agree PA have a role in right place at right time) why is X years’ paramedic practice not an essential part of PA training?

@DrSteveTaylor My husband was asked by a PA to take his blood pressure 4 times daily.
After he had had what was obvious to me my husband ,family members a TIA. He duly did this and suffered another TIA while driving. The paramedics told us he had had a typical TIA. Taken to A&E
