Didn’t understand why pantomime was popular until we took the kids to the Marlowe version about 10 years ago. We’ve been every year since - it’s the law - it’s always utterly brilliant but we’d go to watch Ben Roddy alone.

@Gus_ODonnell Totally agree. I used to oversee the costings as Head of the Spads office at HMT between 2008- 2010 and I hated doing them. I counted myself lucky in that I never felt any pressure from the Spads I worked with over them, but it was an uncomfortable process nonetheless.
