It was terrible Mr Vice President what happened. And lessons will be learned. But here’s a thought - maybe concentrate instead on why 44000 Americans died last year from gun related deaths, and what can be done about your dreadful disease before you start lecturing others
The real two-tier scandal in the UK is the relentless double standard approach of a media which lets one party leader get away with financial dodgery that would drive them into a frenzy if it involved someone their billionaire owners didn’t want in power because they believed in things like fairness and equality
Oh dear. BBC Scotland has concealed the fact that it was the *SNP itself* that contacted HMRC. The headline invites the reader to infer otherwise. For people whose profession it is to ensure accuracy when reporting, this can only be deliberate.
@DrNeilStone Today I had another top up Covid vaccination. I guess it was about my 6th or 7th. I’m 75 years old….still doing OK. BTW, also have had regular flu jags, and shingles, and anything else our brilliant health service in Scotland offers me.
Colin Smyth appeared in court yesterday on serious drink driving charges.
He is currently on bail for possessing indecent images of children. He has separately been charged with placing a camera in the toilets at Holyrood.
The UK's colonial media in Scotland is largely silent.

Why did the BBC describe rioters in Southampton last night as ‘protestors’. They weren’t protestors, they were rioters. Where has the BBC's objectivity gone? Why can't they tell the truth?
No @bbclaurak the biggest political scandal in recent years is the corrupt Covid contracts not Sturgeon/Murrell, as bad as that is. When are you or anyone else in the media holding Gove/Tories to account?

I don’t remember Carrie Johnson being mobbed by the media over Partygate, or Martha Hancock over Matt Hancock’s affair, or Elizabeth Aitken being blamed for Jonathan Aitken’s perjury?
