A Pit Bull named Bruce has become an internet sensation after he was caught on camera ringing his neighbor’s doorbell at 4 a.m., because he wanted to play.

In the adorable footage, Bruce casually walks up to the front door, reaches out with his paw, and presses the doorbell. He then sits patiently on the porch, tail wagging, clearly waiting for his friend to come out.

The homeowner, woken by the unexpected ring, checked her doorbell camera and couldn’t believe her eyes when she saw the playful dog standing there.

The heartwarming clip quickly went viral, with thousands of people charmed by Bruce’s clever and friendly way of asking for a spontaneous playdate.
