As shown, Mark Douglas repeatedly asserts in his book that excellent traders don't control their emotions and don't even need to, yet many traders skip over these direct statements due to their fixed idea that "emotional control is necessary."
I've also repeatedly stated that I don't control emotions, and that this doesn't mean becoming a robot-like person.
I don't experience any emotions while trading, but I'm still as emotional as ever in my daily life.
It's simply a difference in cognition due to the transformation of beliefs and thought processes.
And I've been emphasizing here the importance of daily practice to transform beliefs.
I've been greatly influenced by his book.
It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that everything I do comes from his book.
As he once said, I currently have absolutely no fear towards trading.
I'm just repeatedly doing what needs to be done at the right timing.
Many people regard Mark Douglas's book as a "psychology book," read it, understand it, and stop there, but this is a book for practical application, encouraging you to practice.
And what I share daily is also to encourage you to practice.
Becoming a trader means deeply understanding knowledge through experience and "embodying" probabilistic thinking.
I explain these concepts in detail in my book, so if you haven't read it yet, please do.
