The DEL MHB team switched off their phones, ignored calls when I questioned why they asked my rep to come today if they can’t help clear customs today. They realized they messed up but thought better to ignore the customer than to admit to their mistake. No accountability at all!

Further developments that show exactly why @airindia will always remain the object of an entire nation’s embarrassment.

Bag arrived from London 8 days later. AI refused to clear customs on my behalf although it is the rule under IATA and the Montreal Convention.

Their solution? Spend my own money to come to Delhi and clear customs or beg someone to go on my behalf.

Arranged for someone to go to IGI & confirmed with AI team that today is a good day to come. When my person arrived, they said today is not possible.

I don’t know how this airline is staying afloat because this attitude and carelessness is why their safety record sucks, why their customers suffer, and why they will never become a world class airline. World class airlines are run by world class people… and they’ve far from it.

The worst part? They are not even apologetic. The typical jo ukkadna hain ukkadlo attitude because they are owned by a big lala company @TataCompanies.

I’m in a situation where I might need to fly to a metro city so that my aging parent and siblings have the supplies to make life work in Imphal.

Never going to choose Air India again. I don’t care about my loyalty status. I cannot cope with the stress of flying with them again.

The ex MLA happens to be a neighbor. The fire started due to an electric short circuit from rain damage in the top floor. As soon as we saw the fire, we contacted the fire dept and they put out the fire in 15 mins! Our own property was damaged. Please stop the misinformation!
