@jessphillips The problem I fear Jess is that this is like the brexit bus £350m. They knew it was a lie then, but repeat it because it gets lots of media attention. So even if number is proved to be wrong, the tax rise message comes through.

Really disappointed by @guardian on this, anyone heading out to see the perseids will ultimately be very disappointed if they’re expecting it to look like star trails - but it’s stunning and exciting when you see true meteors (at least when your expectations aren’t unrealistic!)

@NicolaKSDavis hi Nicola, I don’t know if you control images, but the photo accompanying your #perseid piece is totally wrong. It’s not shooting stars but star trails - movement of stars relative to earth over time. If you need a perseid shot, 2nd pic is mine from 4 days ago 👍

@BenCrellin This also benefits the players who come on for cameos. Will still come on around the same time in the match, but have longer to get on the score sheet. Mainly Arsenal and City mids
