@unity@unitygames Could you please make an exception here? I forgot to cancel my free Unity Pro trial, it expried today and now I'm supposed to pay 12 months (~$2000)? I teach gamedev at a school, and I do freelance/indie gamedev. I don't even need a Pro license right now.
@integralyogin@MattKap1 I'm curious, are native Linux ports still a thing these days? A lot of people just use the emulation layer that comes with Steam. I haven't been asked to do a Linux port for a long time now.

Also, an update on CASTLE IN THE DARKNESS 2! Many of you have been asking if it has been cancelled. It has NOT been cancelled 🗡️! We are still steadily working towards the finish line. Short thread:
As the year comes to an end we would like to thank everyone that played and enjoyed "Astalon: Tears of the Earth" :). 2024 will be a big year for us, with some new announcements and unexpected surprises. We're gonna focus on being more active online and showing new stuff!
@TylerGlaiel what also worked for me is to set a "destroyed" flag for the entity, and at the start of the next frame (or in your case, when Idle state is entered), the game removes all entities with that flag set
@TylerGlaiel It would prevent competition. Without a free market, progress will slow down to a point where humanity doesn't get wiped out by evil AI. Everyone wins!!
