The problem is jihadism, Islamism, Islamic extremism, Islamofascism, militant Islam—or whatever words you want to use to describe the belligerence and triumphal lunacy of those who take the most pernicious doctrines of Islam too seriously.
Sam Harris, boys.

There’s a strange pattern in history.
People love dead Jews. They build museums for them. Write books about them. Say “never again.”
What they struggle with are living Jews. Jews who defend themselves. Jews with an army, a homeland, and the audacity to survive on their own terms.
The world was comfortable with the Jew of memory. It’s the Jew of sovereignty that makes them uneasy.
Maybe that’s the real lesson of history: they didn’t want Jews gone—they wanted them powerless.
@ShieldODavid@beirutwire Sure. Iran needs to do it first, and then Lebanon might be inspired. I would 1000x prefer to visit Iran where most people vocally condemn Islam.
@ShieldODavid@beirutwire I would take the under on that happening. All of their best have already left and nobody remaining has the stomach for another civil war.
@anexiledjew It is, whether we like it or not. The Green Red axis is real and has deep roots. And so we need to make sure the entire galut worldwide aligns with the right wing, everywhere.
@DanFriedman81 Yes, and if we want to keep it that way, we need to get the rest of our ranks in line. There are far too many among us who can't abandon their progressivism. https://t.co/FROPZYodc4
