@Scousebird I recommend that everyone formally challenges, through the online appeal process, every single parking/drop off fine received. Challenge them beyond the parking companies to the external appeal stage. Regulation is not the solution, see Ofgen and Ofwat!
@XMacieMarieX@British_Airways Our national flag carrier (albeit not owned by the nation) is a national embarrassment (the exception being the technical/piloting side). Sadly the paying public takes this for granted: the customer facing side, including customer service, is a national humiliation.
@TLRailUK How does your delayed 1024 fast service to Kings X from Hatfield, delayed departure at 1035, is then overtaken by the slow service to Moorgate that left Hatfield at 1039. Then this slower service leaves Finsbury Park as the “faster” service arrives? Missed connection.
@TLRailUK what is wrong with your Great Northern service? Every day delays and cancellations and every Delay Repay submission is rejected automatically and then has to be resubmitted with more evidence. Given the government renationalising process it is clear you have given up.
@Jenny_1884 Absolutely. Totally unfair and limits what you can pass on to your children, or your motivation for doing so. They also get you on Capital Gains Tax if you seek to realise gains before your demise.
@TLRailUK More exceptional service at Hatfield this morning. Ticket office closed and only one automatic ticket machine working (of the three in the main concourse). Why is the ticket office closed?
I will add I wish we all got the same pay rise your staff did, and are increasingly unlikely to get (seeing the increase in employer’s NI contributions), for providing a crap and surly service.
@TLRailUK Harpenden. The east side barriers are never manned, even at rush hour. At Hatfield the barriers are normally manned but they have to check the railcard. Your desire to encourage ticketless travel does not work for Veteran (and other) railcard holders.
@TLRailUK why can you never man the station barriers at peak time? This creates huge inconvenience for Veteran’s railcard holders: countless times I have missed my train waiting for staff to open barriers.
@pablowolfo@fesshole You are not taking wfh terribly seriously. I use the company subsidised gym membership to go to the gym during wfh time: that’s why the company pays for it!
@Upan_77@fesshole This is the sort of sustainable approach to excess that more of us should emulate. I suspect from your use of “excessive” (in the context of soiling yourself) you are against excess in all forms. A committed environmentalist, congratulations, albeit occasionally pungent.
@MayorofLondon Well done. I don’t understand how you are 12 years younger than me but according to the government App I am not yet eligible for my booster. Do you get preferential treatment?
@sin7m@UKPS5Notify You are correct. I already have a Very Account and the normal search gives zero results. Therefore if you use this link you have to log on again and of course lose out in the scramble. So how come these special links?
