@JaissleEra It’s actually more profit than that. Clubs can amortize the cost of players over the length of their contract. On the books he would have been worth a lot less. For trading purposes we’ve made a huge profit on a player entering the twilight of his career who also wanted to leave.

@LeeAtNFTV I would expect that anything affecting financial status is pretty sensitive information. Other clubs will price players based on how much money they think we've got. Also individual figures can be misleading. They need to be seen within the picture of the whole accounts.
