It's the first of our 2024 club TTs on Saturday, when we'll be holding a 'come and try' event idea for first-timers on the K32/5 course, just east of Droitwich. Please note the change of course from the original, which is unavailable due to flooding. https://t.co/2RKLPFvDat
@deeejayspider@MikeyCycling It also used to be legal to drive a car without a license training insurance etc. But then people started being killed and the law makers decided to do something about it.
When cyclists, pedestrians, horse riders etc. start killing no doubt they'll be required to hold a license
@FR4NK_WHITE@WilliamNB@WarksCyclist The issue here is your inability to understand that moving to the left leaves cyclists in a vulnerable position. We do when it is safe but many drivers have no concept of other road users safety.
It's the last round of our club TT season on Sunday morning, with the holding of the annual hill climb on Winwood Heath Road. Trophies are up for grabs for the fastest male and female club members, but everyone wins the satisfaction of tackling the climb! https://t.co/1IX2MJC9Rg
@adamtranter This is great news, but the article states that the Hagley road scheme is being considered? The Hagley Road scheme was announced a few years ago. Last year when I queried the new cycle route signs BCC told me it was being built
Have we scrapped one scheme so we can build another?
@BridgesCanal@CRTBoating@CanalRiverTrust In the UK laws are created when things go wrong. Multiple deaths on roads has created the laws that ban mobile phone use, speed limits etc There's next to no deaths of people drowning haven taken from a narrowboat.
It’s #WorldBicycleDay 🚲
People may cycle in the centre of their lane in certain situations, allowing others to overtake when safe to do so.
Let’s keep everyone safe – refresh your Highway Code knowledge here: https://t.co/hXWxdJTmX6
@jpt4469@adamtranter We don't want to cycle for the good of the planet. It just happens that choosing to cycle is far better for everyone including the planet.
