#TreesForGirls Gender inequality limits dreams, gender equality opens doors, and gender equity ensures every girl has what she needs to walk through them. Let’s choose fairness, support, and opportunity for every girl.#TalkSRHR#endchildmarriages#endfgm#tareto_africa
I have received my award for exemplary leadership during my tenure as the Chairperson of @UNFPAKen Kenya Youth Advisory Panel.
I am grateful for this award and will continue leading and championing for sexual and reproductive health and rights for women, girls and young people.
I was born with a diastema, but as I grew older I started getting an overbite.Mum couldn’t afford braces then, and I still can’t now. Dentist said it wouldn’t get worse, but it has. I just want to smile again without feeling like my teeth will walk out before I do 🥹.
👩🏽🦱 Early marriage harms not just girls, but whole communities cutting education, fueling poverty, and risking health.
💡 When girls stay in school, communities thrive.

Tareto Africa Trust that began as a local response has grown into a community-led organization, grounded in the lived experiences of the people it serves—and fueled by the belief that lasting change begins at the grassroots.
I dared to try 💜
#Breaking4 was about showing the world that we have to push ourselves. This one was for all the young girls and women out there to show that you have to believe in yourself in everything you do.

Action in Naboisho!
Our team @africa_tareto was at Naboisho Primary School yesterday, delivering vital education on sexual and reproductive health and environmental conservation. Through our Trees for Girls project, we're empowering girls to combat drought, climate change, child marriage, and FGM.
Trees for Girls project is a project that creates awareness on the importance of environmental conservation to counter drought and climate change which has contributed to increased child marriage and FGM in exchange for cattle that have been lost throughout the tough drought.
Thank you @popconnect for making this possible

These two girls, Charity and Magdaline, I sponsored their high school education and they have now completed their education. What a pleasure to catch up and reflect on how hard things were when I rescued them from child marriage. A story of hardships and resilience.
At Tareto Africa, we believe in #LeavingNoOneBehind in our journey on transformation.
We are empowering widows from the Maasai Community with sustainable livelihoods initiatives like rearing sheep and goats. We believe that everyone has a good shot at life and they just need an opportunity and encouragement to thrive. @africa_tareto is leading in this.
Today is my brother’s birthday, and I’d love to ask a few of my followers to help contribute something small to his Mchanga link as a birthday gift. We’re rallying support to help him regain his mobility as we prepare for his operation in India & it would mean the world to him.
For those who can, we’ll also be holding a physical fundraiser on (March 27th at CITAM Valley Road from 5:30 PM)
Please note that this initiative is entirely voluntary. Thank you for your kindness and support 🫶🏽
