@IkejaElectric this band A scam of a light bill is out of hand. People should pay for the lights they use, not being charged ridiculously just because they have constant light; which normally should be the state of everyone.

Nyesom Wike, Lover Of The Judiciary.
Whilst Nigerians bantered and laughed about Toyin Abraham’s arrest of Big Ayo, something grand was unfolding in Abuja. Nyesom Wike’s wife, Eberechi Suzzette, was appointed and sworn in as a Justice of the Appeal Court. The event was graced by high-ranking APC members, including governors, senators, and ministers, with Wike himself, now the FCT Minister, in attendance.
Though this appointment should be seen as a reward for hard work and years of service to the judiciary, one cannot help but notice the grand political undertones at play. As the governor of Rivers State, Wike built and handed over 24 duplexes to the judges in the state. Recently, as the FCT Minister, he announced the construction of 40 houses for the Justices of the Court of Appeal, the Federal High Court, and the FCT High Courts. This comes in the wake of a 300% pay rise for the Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN) and other judicial officers as approved by the Senate.
The different arms of government
The judiciary, legislature, and executive
are supposed to act as checks and balances to one another.
However, when the executive overly pampers the judiciary, one can only imagine the potential compromise to the integrity of the Justices. This is not far-fetched, as Senator Adamu Bulkachuwa openly confessed in the Senate chamber that he influenced the decisions of his wife, Zainab, while she was serving as a judge and President of the Court of Appeal.
If the judiciary is the last hope of the common man but is in bed with the Executive Arm, where then shall the common man seek redress? If public confidence in the Nigerian judiciary is destroyed, what then shall be the fate of our hallowed chambers? The 2027 elections could already be manipulated even as the country deteriorates.
The APC is a cancer that has sworn not just to eat the very fabric of every institution in our dear country, but to also destroy it. We wait and watch as the very thing that makes us a country continues its freefall into collapse.
@AkwaigboG I see a lot of comments talking about feminism and I know it’s from the lips of people who cannot grasp the context. What has feminism got to do with someone being betrayed? Na wa o
Jonathan gave excuses. Tinubu rigged his way in to intimidate people. He thinks Nigeria is Lagos where he has people under his thumb!
An illegitimate president masquerading as commander in chief with no capacity nor competence and character. Just sheer criminality going on!
