@distroaryan Thank u

[Nik @SimplyNikhill]

@MansiCodez When we have configured limited threads on our proxy because of infra limitations and in production we got a race condition where all the threads got into a wait state that made proxy restart and blocked processing of new requests.

[Nik @SimplyNikhill]

@Harry_The_Nerd Why are you studying linear algebra I am confused 🤔

[Nik @SimplyNikhill]

@kartikktwt @AyushSarode07 Yeah..I am reading it currently...Have you read it ?

[Nik @SimplyNikhill]

@kartikktwt @AyushSarode07 There is a book on distributed systems by Martin keppler try it. It'll change your perception on distributed systems

[Nik @SimplyNikhill]

@MansiCodez If the Event has never reached DB then we can't even use WAL.But using a queue (EDA) can help .when the order service comes back it'll reconnect to Queue and process the event.

@OpenAI @nvidia @LinkedIn @ycombinator @Meta @AnthropicAI @netflix @SpaceX

[Nik @SimplyNikhill]

@_kekule15 People often make this mistake

[Nik @SimplyNikhill]

@arexobcd Let's connect

[Nik @SimplyNikhill]

@code_kartik Not just ai engineer that will teach a lot about backend also.we have so much infra on AWS db ,vpc,s3,lambda, kubernetes,NLB etc

[Nik @SimplyNikhill]

@Harry_The_Nerd Another important part of distributed systems is Coordination where we usually use zookeeper or kraft or maybe Oxia.

[Nik @SimplyNikhill]

@Harry_The_Nerd And also add thread pool management

[Nik @SimplyNikhill]

@Harry_The_Nerd For api design include other methods like grpc and graphql

[Nik @SimplyNikhill]

I’d love to hear people’s opinions on this: Is there a better and less resource-intensive way to debug issues than relying on logs?

[Nik @SimplyNikhill]

@Alex1here Hi

[Nik @SimplyNikhill]

@_kekule15 Then what's the point of having a separate db to store the events when we don't have any event processing attached to it 😂.just increasing the cost of another DB

[Nik @SimplyNikhill]

@_kekule15 And if there is a bug while testing the developer has no idea why it's happening 😞

[Nik @SimplyNikhill]

Idk How teams @Atlassian are reviewing their PR's but in last six months I have seen Bitbucket go down multiple times.Maybe hired too many Vibecoders 🙂
