Amish Tripathi's new book Chola Tigers seems like a right wing BJP agenda. Especially the epilogue. Sad to see even authors no longer support secularism.
Regarding the order of the Supreme Court about stray dogs in Delhi
I have written to the Hon'ble Chief Justice of India this morning with an appeal:
(a) For a stay on the directions passed by the SC yesterday regarding stray dogs in Delhi and
(b) For the review of the order by a larger Bench.
The issue of management of stray dogs as well as safety of people is definitely a matter of concern. However, it is not something that can be resolved by arbitrary orders passed by the judiciary without any larger consultative process. Also, subjecting defenseless animals to wanton cruelty can never be a solution.
We have sufficient laws in the country to deal with the issue of stray dogs and their sterilization as well as population control. And I agree that it is a very important issue where the welfare and safety of common people is concerned.
However, the failure of municipal authorities to implement these laws and do their job cannot and should not become a reason for the judiciary to impose cruel and inhumane directions.
SAVE DELHI DOGS
We are not kings of all we see,
just guests beneath lifeโs ancient tree.
Our greatness shines, not in our might,
but in the mercy we ignite.
Each tail we save from pain or fear,
makes the world a kinder sphere.

Delhi stray dogs r not a menace. They r part of an ecosystem. Their brutal removal is not a solution. Empathy is. Getting civic agencies 2 do their job properly is a solution n supporting caregivers so that they can provide more is a solution. Lend ur voice 2 the voiceless now.
You know so much happened but Manjulika never harmed Sharad for getting engaged to another woman. She tried to kill Nandini and Siddharth but Sharad - no blame.
