I had a similar experience on a flight from Cairo to Amman. They all had brand new Ethiopian passports.
One of them mistakenly sat beside me because she couldn’t read the seat numbers correctly or even speak English. I helped her to her seat, then I saw they were at least 20.

This is a very unfair response. I’m speaking as a patient who had a traumatizing surgery and wished I had a female doctor.
You obviously have more context than me or any non-medic does as to what goes on during medical training.
You could be kinder and a little less dismissive.
