Yesterday, near me in Strasbourg, the European Parliament distinguished itself and voted for the new requirements for #smartcontracts, the so-called “kill switches”, that allow a reset of activity.

5/6 Essence of smart contracts is the self-execution, once created, they are effectively unchangeable. This makes them “trustless” in industry parlance.
@ProfSchrepel saw this as an internal contradiction, while the essence of a smart contract on a blockchain is its immutability
