The incident on 20th May 2025 of Stopping DIPR, Govt. Of Manipur sponsored Manipur Road Transport Bus travelling to Ukhrul by the designated journalists for the coverage of the 5th Shirui Lily festival by MAHAR regiment which is a part of Indian Army, and asked to remove the word “Manipur” from the bus name is certainly questionable to the credibility of the officials who is heading the central security forces in Manipur after the 3rd May 2023 violence incidence. Whereas the entire country felt proud of our armed forces in the operation Sindoor but a mere disturbance created by illegal immigrants and Kuki terrorists in Manipur could not be controlled till now. We as a CSO strongly condemn the act of this by MAHAR regiment in Manipur and we demand a strong punishment to the officers who involved to the level of charge of treason for being highly unconstitutional act!!!

#Manipur Police & CRPF, conducted poppy destruction drive in Lhungjang Village yesterday. What's so special?

Lhungjang is native village of Ch. Ajang Khongsai, President of Kuki Inpi, Manipur, under whose watch large-scale poppy plantation was SHELTERED.

OBVIOUSLY, drive was met with violent opposition. A large mob armed with sticks gathered at the site, forcibly halting the operation. Taking advantage of the limited number of police personnel, the mob vandalized three police vehicles and threatened the personnel to stop the destruction drive. The situation quickly escalated, and reinforcement team led by SP Kangpokpi rushed to spot to control the mob.

#ManipurViolence | A special NIA court has allowed the National Investigation Agency (NIA) to use a viral YouTube video as evidence, where a Kuki terrorist named “Tiger,” commander of KNF-P, claimed responsibility for attacking CRPF personnel & burning homes in Manipur on Nov 11, 2024.

The video was downloaded onto a pen drive in front of witnesses and sealed under Section 105 of the BNSS (electronic evidence). The court recorded the evidence and returned the pen drive to the NIA for further investigation.
