As per Haryana Excise Notification No. 2/2023-24 (Clause 13):

“Liquor shops must not be within 50 meters of a place of worship or 100 meters of an educational institution.”

This shop is within ~25m of a temple and ~50m of a nursery school.
It causes daily distress, unsafe surroundings, and repeated public nuisance.

We request:
•Immediate license review and cancellation
•Relocation as per law
•Transparent inspection report

Absolutely agree, @ankurmech. The removal of the liquor shop from this sensitive area—right opposite a temple and close to schools—is the only real and lasting solution. One-day actions may help, but the nuisance returns the very next day.

We need a permanent fix, not a temporary cleanup.

Following recent complaints, Badshahpur Police has taken action and assured that daily patrolling on evenings with riders and a police van to curb public drinking and unauthorised vendors near Spaze Privy, Sector 72. While this is a welcome step, a long-term solution is needed.

A liquor shop continues to operate right opposite a Shiv Mandir, and close to residential families and schools. This is not just about law enforcement—it’s a matter of public safety, cultural respect, and urban planning.

Requesting Hon’ble CM @NayabSainiBJP Ji and @raonarbir ji to kindly intervene and consider relocation of such liquor shops from sensitive zones like temples and schools.

Let’s make Gurugram and Sector 72 safer, cleaner, and more respectful for families and children.
