44 years on, the blood of Ghana’s murdered judges still speaks. On Tuesday, the Moderator of the Presbyterian Church, Rt. Rev. Dr. Abraham Nana Opare Kwakye, admonished members of the judiciary and Ghana Bar Association to put meaningful action to the Martyrs day remembrance service.
According to him, the service means nothing if justice itself is for sale. He warned that when decisions of the Courts carry a political colour, or when lawyers betray the very clients they should protect, then the system cannot just hold ceremonies and call it honour. For him, honouring God, and those judges, must be from the heart, not just the lips....
