For the second stop of the visit, H.E. Ambassador WEI Huaxiang visited the Rajanganaya Nanofiltration Water Station in Anuradhapura.
Operational since 2018, this 10-ton/day advanced facility delivers safe drinking water to nearby households and school students.
During the visit, the Ambassador sampled the freshly purified water on-site—a simple bottle reflecting years of dedicated scientific cooperation and lasting friendship between China and Sri Lanka.

For the 3rd stop of the visit, H.E. Ambassador WEI Huaxiang toured the newly upgraded Sinopec New City Lanka Filling Station in Anuradhapura and inspected its nanofiltration drinking water station—a project turning JRDC research into community benefits.
Ambassador WEI also tasted the treated water on-site.
