1/ Last year at this exact moment, we were preparing our infrastructure to "hand mint" 1000 fully on-chain #nft games for launching #Pulsar79. #ETH was incredibly slow and had constant gas problems, #arweave infra was still quite early and unstable, but we managed a world first!

It's silly how much minds are blown when you mention software and games not needing internet 20 years ago to function to the youngest generation. It makes me sad how internet has been used to keep software hostage, without any benefit (other than for the shareholders...)

We have been using the best solution for a problem that is plaguing the gaming industry for over a decade already. Gamers want permanence and if this pushes through, the gaming industry will have it before the 'Web3' space does. Only #onchain will remain.

@c8ake But also essential advice for people who don't have throwaway funds to keep holding. The majority of people in crypto do it as hail-mary to pay the bills, this space often forgets that due to the echo chamber that is crypto Twitter.

Big 'AAA' companies are struggling with huge pushback from gamers giving up on them. A big part is games being pulled, disappearing without any way to recover. The #web3 gaming space has the same problem with almost all games being 'games as a service'. You own nothing.

'Infinite money glitches' don't exist and it's very harmful that some people in the crypto space treat it as such. It is as much winning, losing and house takes it all in the end, just like gambling. Realistic expectations makes every space a better one. Don't hide truths.

@GringoHodl @camolNFT Other than the 3 games we released with @gridacity since 2021 there are not many fully onchain games. I do admit it's simpler for single-player games to get permanence, but community hosting for anything multiplayer solves that issue easily. #arweave already solved the storage.
