Spurs had no intention of buying Fernandes and Tonali
Same way they had no intention of buying Semenyo, Dias, Bruno Fernandes and co
They just want to present the fans with the illusion they are trying their best
25 years of the same patterns under Enic
Won’t be long until De Zerbi susses them and walks
Manuel Ugarte had to be stretchered off after suffering a left knee injury.
Valgus at the knee + a non-contact, pivoting mechanism points towards an ACL tear (+/- meniscus).
A calf ripple was also seen, which typically results in a tear.
Expected Recovery Time: 9-12 months
Unfortunate news for Uruguay and Manchester United fans.

@grindboss21 😅 PSR accounting deadline is Tuesday. So we are likely to start seeing movement from next week - we will bring in our players - I actually don't have an issue with the pace. Spurs dey talk jajaja they can't buy both Tonali and Fernandes leave story . Na why dem never bid
@Johnny_Takes11 It feels like Mateus is the Tonali back up plan.
Tonali has a higher asking price and they’ve already bid on him. If Tonali is the back up plan why bid on him first?
Sandro Tonali is believed to be ready to sign for Tottenham if they can agree a deal with Newcastle ⚪️
Sky Sports News has been told the midfielder is keen to play for Roberto de Zerbi and a contract worth more than £275,000 per week would be ready and waiting for him to sign.
✅ "I'm taking Alex Scott all day, every day!"
🤦♂️ "There's no way Elliot Anderson is £60m better than Alex Scott!"
Darren Bent insists #MCFC paying a record fee for Elliot Anderson is baffling when #AFCB's Alex Scott costs so much less! 🤦♂️
🚨 José Mourinho to Beast Mode On: “I once had a player who didn’t want to take a small injection to play a match”.
“I took off my shoe and socks and I put my foot right in front of his face and I told the doctor: ‘GIVE ME THE INJECTION’. And he gave it to me and my toe was perfect”.
“Then I told the player, ‘C’mon you can also do it.’ He said: ‘No, you are crazy’… well”.
“He played NO matches with me after this”.
A woman hiking in Canada nearly became a grizzly’s next meal and the video circulating right now is genuinely one of the most intense wildlife encounters you will ever watch - her dog is with her, a massive grizzly is right there, and somehow she kept her head together long enough for both of them to walk away breathing.
That is not a small thing. Most people talk tough until nature is standing ten feet in front of them and every instinct in your body is screaming to run, and running is exactly the worst thing you can do.
Grizzlies are built to chase, they top out over 700 pounds and can cover ground faster than any human alive. The people who survive these moments are the ones who override pure fear with pure discipline and this woman did exactly that.
If you hike, camp, or spend any real time in the wilderness - bear spray is not optional, it is the difference between a story you tell and one somebody else tells about you.
Could you have kept your cool?
Hats off to her.
Jurgen Klopp walked out of an interview with a broadcaster after being asked about former Germany midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger’s description of African football as “wild” and “unorthodox”.
Schweinteiger, who spent 17 seasons with Bayern Munich, commented on Ivory Coast’s style of play before their loss to Germany in Toronto last week on German broadcaster ARD, saying the side played “African football” which was “a bit wild, a bit unorthodox and a bit perhaps not so conditioned by tactics”.
Former Liverpool head coach Klopp, who is working with broadcaster Magenta for the World Cup, was asked about the comment by Deutsche Welle on Wednesday but refused to comment on the topic and instead walked away.
“No, no. I have no chance; I have no chance to answer this question,” he said. “Everybody likes it so you bring me into this situation, it’s not my job that everyone likes it but this is a serious subject and I don’t even know what is appropriate to say.
“For African people it’s one thing, for other people it’s another thing, and I’m not here.”

Took magnesium glycinate last night and just woke up feeling like I slept for a thousand years 😳.. I need the scientific explanation RIGHT NOWWWW.
Yes this is my stuff 🤎🤏🏾
The idea of Elliot Anderson as some elite midfielder is slowly fading. The image I had of him in my head has completely disappeared after watching him play alongside actual top-level footballers.
It will be insanity . Fernandez isn’t a better player than the other options (Scott, Baleba , Tchou) . I like him but at 85m it’s madness for a 21 year old that didn’t make the WC squad . This is what you get when you deal with Mendes
The whole appeal of Matheus Fernandes was that it was meant to be a market opportunity with West Ham being relegated.
To then go and pay over £75m + wages for him would just be absurd at this point
Cote d'Ivoire, Ghana, Togo, Benin and Nigeria have now confirmed the Abidjan-lagos Corridor Management Authority, a body that will over see the operation of the 1,028 km coastal highway.
The operation phase of the six lane stretch is set for 2030.
Future plans to construct a parallel high speed railway is also being planned. The highway is expected to generate a combined total of $16 billion in trade and $1.3 billion as toll revenues for the five countries.
