@CcibChris It's a. IIIS with the canard modification the Swiss air force applied. I worked on that during my military service. For me still one of the most beautiful planes ever build. You could even attach a liquid rocket engine to it. So we were able to reach >> 60kft

@AviationMarlene I saw several JATO (As it was called it here in CH) takeoff's of Mirage III during my military service at the Swiss Air-force. Cool events and for the pilots it' was a number one experience of their entire life.
Me 4 years ago in southern Ukraine (Pervomaisk) visiting a former Soviet missile base. The attached museum is a gold mine for rocket enthusiasts. So sad what happened since then.
