Field with a look of potassium deficiency. Plants have black roots = hydrogen sulfide toxicity. Plants in worst areas have crown rot, better areas only mild blackening of roots. Drain to reverse situation & save what we can. #ARrice

Today's PSA: Clean out sprayers completely when moving between trait technologies. This conventional #ARrice was damaged from a tank contamination of Newpath/Preface.

Telltale signs: straight lines, 100-ft damage width, & a "V" pattern feathering out from the middle.

Nothing good will come from low temps and frost this week, but rice will be fine. If it’s in the ground it’s ok and if it’s emerged you may see some striping, leaf burn, or even leaf loss. Warm temps into the weekend will lead to new healthy growth. #ARrice
