My response to this is that all our camera people in Japan are Japanese. They are an incredibly talented and versatile team who not only film beautiful pictures but also edit them, fly drones, run live positions, all with far fewer resources at hand than big Japanese channels
For two weeks, we've been following one community in Gaza and how it has been impacted by the war.
In al-Zahra, the destruction began with a call to a local dentist, telling him to get his neighbours out of their homes before bombs hit.

An absolutely incredible piece by @alice_cuddy showing how a group of Israeli mothers locked in their safe rooms shared updates, supported each other, and described the horror as Hamas stalked their kibbutz killing people in their homes.
As Hamas stormed the Be'eri kibbutz on Saturday, women used a mothers' WhatsApp group to voice their horror and disbelief.
The constant stream of updates show how the attack unfolded and how the close-knit community supported one another.

We spent four days in a burning forest in north-eastern Greece where Europe's largest-ever wildfire has been recorded.
The fire has killed 20 people, destroyed homes and livelihoods, and devastated an important ecosystem.

If you missed this extraordinary investigation into subway gropers and their networks earlier this week, you should make time to read and watch it now.

Thread - A BBC investigation in #Afghanistan has found a dramatic drop in opium poppy cultivation after the Taliban's ban on it. @Imo_Anderson@sanjayganguly & I went to multiple provinces & remote areas, in some parts farmers complied, where they defied, opium fields destroyed.
Tim’s podcast about my most interesting old friend and housemate (sorry everyone!) is such a lovely thing. Featuring his superb approach to life and how he made a career out of being wiser about Eurovision than anyone. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, and you’ll wish you had known him.
The devastation left by the #TurkeyEarthquake can be seen everywhere in Iskenderun.
We've spent time this week at one apartment block, learning about the lives of the people who lived there and what happened to them during the earthquake.

@TwitterSupport My lists have suddenly disappeared from view and I'm being told I don't have any. But I can see them on Tweetdeck. How do I access them again from my account and on the app?
A week ago, a theatre in the besieged city of Mariupol where hundreds of civilians were sheltering was attacked. Ukraine accuses Russia of dropping a bomb from a plane. Moscow denies it. A lot remains unclear. Here's what our investigation has found out: https://t.co/x4Sm24R2tj
Over the last few weeks this team has been working hard on our coverage of Ukraine: writing the main news stories, features, making digital video and working closely with our reporters in the field.
We are hiring journalists for the @BBCNews Digital News team. We want excellent writers with creative ideas for covering the biggest stories in the UK and globally. You can apply here: https://t.co/U118L7FOex
