@TrojanMcJohnson@SadlyItsBradley Adam Savage's Tested said in their video multiple times that the optics really remind them of the Quest 3, which tbh doesn't sound very good... Being compared to a 2 year old mid range headset...
@SadlyItsBradley Seems like pretty good for 2D gaming, streamed from a PC, and the software and other quirks sound impressive, but generally a bit disappointed with the specs...
@OnlineAdel@cisiel23@SadlyItsBradley To be honest I don't know much about hardware costs, but better colors and contrast over LCD would be great.
Having said that, it would feel more "Valve" of them to go for LCDs this time around though, and then somewhere down the line offer a micro-OLED version.
@cisiel23@SadlyItsBradley I hope it's micro-OLED, that would be really cool. If the resolution and panel quality are good enough, I intend to also try to use it for work and productivity, replacing my ultrawide monitor. I work in film and games, so good contrast and color is a big plus.
@gabefollower I wonder what type of fighting game it would be. Cause they could definitely make something interesting with the mechanics. I mostly play Tekken, but I feel there is lots of room for new and innovative fighting game mechanics.
You could also have an offline Team Battle, where one (less skilled) player could pick several characters, and another just one. The less skilled one tries to beat one character with several of his, and the more skilled one would have to try keep his health up and win all rounds.
@Harada_TEKKEN@mykeryu a handicap feature (like in T3) in offline #TEKKEN8 Player VS Player mode would be great for playing against less skilled friends. It could make it more fun for everyone if we could set the % health for different players.
@EaglesBball Hi! Do you organize any casual 3v3 / 5v5? I am looking for relatively skilled players to play with on a weekly basis in the Abingdon area. I emailed you through your website about it but not sure the email arrived. Thanks!
@Harada_TEKKEN a Team Battle mode for #Tekken8 , where a group of friends can queue up and fight against another group would be so much fun. The winner of the 1st match starts the 2nd match with remaining health and fights the 2nd player who has full health, like in Tekken 3.
