Newlin Weatherford spoke about stellar-mass black holes (BHs) in globular clusters (GC). He showed that the total number of BHs in GCs does not correlate with the number of BH-nonBH binaries, and it anticorrelates with the amount of mass segregation in the system. #MODEST20

Poojan Agrawal described her efforts in developing METISSE (METhod of Interpolation for Single Star Evolution), which can use tracks from different stellar evolution codes. She showed us that differences in modelling SSE do matter! Paper coming soon! #staytuned #MODEST20
