His mannerisms don’t seem to be based on protest, and his standing negates most other reasons.

@mrssockgoblin Yup! Usually they’re supposed to unpack boxes in the back but stocking the shelves would occur all day long when I worked at target. That was the job apart from talking to customers.

I thought the Odyssey movie was fine. There were valid criticisms, Nolan-isms, and progressive undertones but if you’re a Nolan fan that’s not new. Even dark knight has those if you’re paying attention.

My upside to this is it reminded me to go reread the Iliad and the Odyssey.

@TheCatholicEngr I got an engineering role without a degree because my portfolio of project I’d worked on impressed the chief engineer more than a degree would.

Albeit I’m lucky and this is not to say the degree wouldn’t have helped, but those side projects help.
