A "simp" is a slang for someone who shows excessive attention, affection, or deference to another person, especially in the pursuit of a romantic relationship where the feelings are not reciprocated.

It is primarily directed at men who are perceived as doing "too much" for someone who shows little or no interest in them.

Q:- How to identify a simp?
A:- If they buy expensive gifts, constantly double-text, or change their personality entirely to win the approval of a crush. Often, you will see them moving mountains, while their partner won't even move a finger.

Q:- Who is not a simp?
A:- A kind and compassionate person who cares for their partner, where his kindness and care is reciprocated, is not a simp. He/she is just a good person & partner.

Q:- How does a man become a simp?
A:- A man starts behaving like a simp when he has self-esteem issues. If he lacks confidence, thinks himself as less, or thinks that he is not worthy of love and desire of a woman, he starts being too nice. He showers his partner with lots of love and affection, even if she hasn't earned it, even if she doesn't reciprocate. He thinks that by doing all this, he will compensate for his lack of self-esteem and his activities will help him keep the girl.

Q:- How to un-simp yourself?
A:- If you have traits/esteem issues inside you which forces you to simp, work on your confidence. Be fit, build wealth, develop leadership, learn to set boundaries etc. Simping won't help you much with women. If anything, she will be more repulsed than ever. Learn to take a stand for yourself. Always speaking in her favour, always validating her opinion, thoughts etc. even if she is wrong, won't earn you any browny points. All it will do is, it will signal her that you are not fit to lead, but you are fit to be extracted, sucked up and thrown away.

Incel = characterized by bitter resentment towards opposite sex

Chad = someone who is confident & desirable, but emotionally detached

Gent = positive healthy middle ground between these extremes.
