@SusanPolgar 1. Kd1 …
If 1… Bh7 2. g6 Bg6 3. Qg6 Kh8
Then 2 more checks to get queen out of attack and retain King in h file followed by Kc2
4. Qh5 Kg8 5. Qg4 Kh8 6.Kc2
Checks should run out
@SusanPolgar Hi @SusanPolgar , I am wondering what if the queen is taken. I don’t see much attack. 1… Bd1 2. Nc6 Qc7 3. Nd4 Kd8 4. Nc3 e6 is solid and should be winning . Let me know if I am missing something
@SusanPolgar It is a great learning. We have the Bb8 threat in the pocket. Black cannot take it away. But immediate Bb8 loses to Bf6.
So a quiet Kd3 gets rid of the fork and threatens Bb8. I see no defense
1… b5, 2. ab Kb6 3. Be3#
1… Rb2. 2. Bb8 Rxb3+ 3. Kc2 Rb2+ 4. Kc1 wins the rook.
