"Why don't gamers want new ideas in games?"
Your "new idea" is taking a pre-existing popular property, replacing the main character with a woman that for some reason looks like an ogre even though the model for it looks like a goddess, then putting yellow paint on everything.
@wake_true@vegassportsfan2@IcyVert You have friends who choose to not be season ticket holders for a team currently in the Stanley Cup final because said team *considered* signing a guy who was acquitted...
What a bunch of pussies lol
After watching Henry Nowak bleed to death while in handcuffs, while his murderer was treated as the victim, I can honestly say I have never witnessed a greater betrayal by a nation of its own people. Cowards and traitors, all of them. Shame on Britain.
@GameOfMatthews@reporterchris This comment might hold some credibility if there weren't Leafs fans raging about the dude under damn near every post that's related to him, and even some that aren't.
So it's more like the other way around.
@sharktankhab Yall talk just as much shit as US fans, if not more, then whine like crybabies the moment youre on the receiving end. It's obvious only one side is in their feelings.

And thats not what I'm saying. I'm gonna type this novel in an attempt to reach common ground and because I'm about done going back and forth with people.
Echoes is simply an example of just one of many reasons d2 failed. I typed "gay love story" & people rushed in throwing fits without first understanding the point being made.
Echoes was bad. People didnt like it. Why? Story/content. Focus? Largely a love story rather than heroic feats from two of the greatest guardians in history. Is it possible to think a company is pandering, regardless of whether you give a shit that the characters are gay? If youre honest you know the answer is yes. At some point, show me Saint doing something else. Show me other memories. Nah. Love story again combined with bad writing.
Like I said, it wouldve been bad with a straight couple too. But they wanted to pander. Also pete parsons is shit. Also corporate mgmt was shit. The original point was simply and literally, it was a "questionable franchise decision". The horror. Aight, I'm out.
@falloutplays Bungie immediately followed up Final Shape with an episode (Echoes) centered around Saint14 & Osiris's gay love story.
If you dont think decisons like that qualify as "questionable franchise decisions" youre either delusional or dishonestly virtue signaling.

@LUMAP0P@falloutplays Yes, it is obviously an opinion. Duh. And it's one that many people shared on their way to criticizing the episode and/or leaving the game.
@mrelswago@ShenFGC@falloutplays Lol youre so ideologically warped youre gonna try to rewrite history and pretend echoes wasnt panned by the community. Unreal.
@mrelswago@ShenFGC@falloutplays *bad / *forced / *pandering / *boring / *focused on relationship drama
No one has ever argued a d2 seasonal story is too complex.
@LUMAP0P@falloutplays *Echoes focusing on a love story was a "questionable franchise decision". It was bad, forced pandering. If it was a straight couple, it wouldve also been bad/forced, just less pandering. It was shit writing motivated by identity politics to the point even reddit called it out.
