From the @FraserInstitute: "It's no wonder British Columbians are leaving the province in droves, why BC is struggling to attract private-sector investment, and why living standards... have stagnated. Why would someone choose to live or work in a province where their home or investment is not protected?"

A Spanish assembly member just stood up in the Madrid parliament and said what most world leaders won’t:
“Do you think the mothers of 160 dead girls would thank Trump for killing their children? You have become a bootlicker of Trump.”
The chamber erupted in support.
This is happening in Madrid.
In Washington, senators are competing to prove their loyalty to a foreign government.
In Texas, Ted Cruz told Christians he won’t stand with them if they won’t stand with Israel.
In South Carolina, Lindsey Graham is recruiting parents to send their children to the Middle East.
In Madrid, an elected official is saying the mothers of 160 dead girls out loud — in parliament — on the record.
Spine: 100%.
The moral clarity that is absent in Washington is showing up everywhere else.
This is a terrible mistake to do this. Will make it a lot less likely to get the economy back on track. People who can think around corners know exactly how this will be applied. Just look at the UK.
This is still not getting the attention it deserves. Absolute insanity. Any business considering investing in BC is out of their mind until this gets resolved.
.@Dave_Eby says BC was not briefed on Ottawa’s decision here, and province now has to engage with Feds to understand implications of move. Acknowledges comes at time of heightened anxiety for public on issue.
It is crazy, frankly, that an arm of the government can order someone to pay $750,000 for offensive posts on Facebook. It's an alarming decision, from a disreputable tribunal. https://t.co/8kvjksZkKY
Business leaders are calling on the BC gov’t to scrap the PST changes announced in last week’s budget.
“This government does not have a revenue problem, it has a spending problem,” says @BoardofTrade CEO Bridgitte Anderson.
