Our School Resource Officer, Deputy Farley visited Kirtland Elementary yesterday to talk to the students about what it means to be in law enforcement. They loved seeing all the equipment we carry and we love being able to interact with these awesome kids!

SJCSO is aware of a planned protest tonight. Law Enforcement will be in the area to assist citizens who are peacefully exercising their first amendment rights and keeping the area safe.

Please avoid the area of US 64 near the Hogback Speedway. Deputies and other first responders are in the area, responding to a vehicle crash involving a livestock trailer. Please be patient as traffic is delayed at this time. One lane will be open in both directions asap.
