Mr. @ncbn garu, why such cruelty towards former ministers, former MLAs and leaders belonging to the tribal community? How can you resort to inappropriate behaviour towards former Deputy Chief Minister Pushpa Sreevani? Have you stooped to such a level that you are using police force to suppress their voices? Why are YSRCP leaders being placed under house arrest everywhere? What crime have they committed?

Is it a crime to stand in support of the parents of students who are protesting against the shifting of the Government Tribal Residential School at Marikavalasa in Visakhapatnam, to raise their voice on their behalf and to question this government? I strongly condemn the conduct of the government and the police.

Parents of students and tribal organisations have been protesting against the shifting of the Marikavalasa school since August 20, but this government does not even have the patience to listen to their objections. Why is there a need to shift this Tribal Residential School at all?

During the tenure of Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy, seven Gurukulams were established under the School of Excellence concept, based on the advice and suggestions of renowned educationist and then MLC Chukka Ramaiah. The objective was to provide quality education to ST students from Class VIII to Intermediate and prepare them to secure admissions to prestigious institutions such as NITs and IITs. Qualified teachers were appointed and incentives were also provided to them to ensure quality coaching. As a result of this initiative, tribal students were able to secure seats in these prestigious educational institutions.

During our government, we further improved the infrastructure and facilities in these institutions through Nadu-Nedu. We also strengthened the quality of education through online coaching and interactive platforms and achieved good results. Tribal students who secured seats in NITs and IITs were given Rs 40,000 as an incentive, along with laptops.

Now, instead of taking care of these institutions, why are you forcibly shifting students from schools that are functioning well and putting them through hardship? Do tribal students not have the right to study in a city like Visakhapatnam?

At Kota in Nellore district too, hundreds of students were hurriedly shifted from an SC Gurukulam in the middle of the academic year. From four Gurukulams with a large number of students, more than 2,000 students have been put to hardship and scattered across different places. Will you play with the lives and future of students?

Mr Chandrababu Naidu, you and your son, with your reckless decisions, are throwing the Education Department into complete disarray.

You claim that the new institutions you propose to establish will provide specialised coaching from the Intermediate level. But to excel in competitive examinations such as JEE and NEET, students need to build a strong foundation from at least Class VIII. Isn't that precisely the concept behind the Schools of Excellence?

It is not right to weaken and dismantle the Schools of Excellence established with such a concept. The government must review its decision, listen to the objections of the students and their parents, and allow those children to study wherever they wish to continue their education.

You must also apologise for the inappropriate treatment meted out to women leaders belonging to the tribal community.

చంద్రబాబుగారూ… మీరు, మీ అనుకూల మీడియా ఎంతగా చరిత్రను వక్రీకరించినా వాస్తవాలు మారవు. మీ మీడియాలో మీకు భజన చేయించుకున్నంత మాత్రాన నిజాలను దాచలేరు. 1996లో హడావిడిగా అప్ప‌ట్లో ఎన్నిక‌ల ముందు శంకుస్థాపన రాయి వేసి చేతులు దులుపుకొన్నారు. ఆ తర్వాత 2004 వరకూ ఎనిమిదేళ్లు అధికారంలో ఉన్నా ప్రాజెక్టును ఒక్క అడుగూ ముందుకు తీసుకెళ్లలేదు. ఆ ఎనిమిదేళ్లలో మీరు ఖర్చుచేసింది కేవలం రూ.10 లక్షలు. అదీ శంకుస్థాపన, సభ ఏర్పాట్లకే. వెలిగొండపై మీ చిత్తశుద్ధి ఏమిటో ఈ ఒక్క వాస్తవమే చెబుతోంది.

వైయస్సార్‌ గారు ముఖ్యమంత్రి అయ్యాక జలయజ్ఞంలో భాగంగా వెలిగొండకు సమగ్ర రూపమిచ్చారు. జంట సొరంగాలు, నల్లమలసాగర్‌, మూడు డ్యామ్‌లు, ఫీడర్‌ ఛానల్‌, ప్రధాన కాలువల నిర్మాణాన్ని చేపట్టి ప్రాజెక్టును సాకారం చేశారు.

వెలిగొండకు ప్రాణం 37.587 కిలోమీటర్ల జంట సొరంగాలు. అవి లేకపోతే కృష్ణా జలాలు రావు. వైయస్సార్‌ గారు ప్రారంభించిన నిర్మాణ దశలో 20.333 కిలోమీటర్లు పూర్తయ్యాయి. 2014–19 మధ్య మీ హయాంలో జరిగింది కేవలం 6.686 కిలోమీటర్లు. ఒక్క సొరంగానికీ కూడా బ్రేక్‌త్రూ సాధించలేకపోయారు.
మా ప్రభుత్వ హయాంలో కరోనా, ఆర్థిక ఇబ్బందులను ఎదుర్కొంటూనే మిగిలిన అత్యంత క్లిష్టమైన 10.568 కిలోమీటర్ల తవ్వకాన్ని పూర్తిచేశాం. టన్నెల్‌–1ను 2021 జనవరిలో, టన్నెల్‌–2ను 2024 జనవరిలో పూర్తిచేశాం. 2024 మార్చి 6న జంట సొరంగాలను జాతికి అంకితం చేశాం. హెడ్‌ రెగ్యులేటర్లు, కాలువల అనుసంధాన పనులు చేపట్టి నీటి తరలింపునకు మార్గం అప్పుడే మేము సిద్ధం చేశాం. మరి మొత్తం ప్రాజెక్టును మీరే నిర్మించినట్లు ఎలా చెప్పుకుంటారు? ఏ కాంట్రిబ్యూషన్‌ లేకుండానే మొత్తం క్రెడిట్‌ను కాజేయాలనుకోవడం మీ సహజ నైజానికి మరో నిదర్శనం కాదా?

అధికారంలోకి వచ్చాక ఈ ప్రాంతానికి మరోవైపున తీరని అన్యాయం చేశారు. మేం చేపట్టిన పెద్దదోర్నాలలోని 131 పడకల సూపర్‌ స్పెషాలిటీ ఆస్పత్రి పనులను ఎందుకు ముందుకు తీసుకెళ్లడం లేదు? వెనుకబడిన ప్రాంత ప్రజలకు అత్యుత్తమ వైద్యం అందించేందుకు మేం ప్రారంభించిన మార్కాపురం ప్రభుత్వ మెడికల్‌ కాలేజీ నిర్మాణాన్ని ఎందుకు ఆపేశారు? ప్రభుత్వ రంగంలో పూర్తిచేయాల్సిన మెడికల్‌ కాలేజీని ప్రైవేటు పేరుతో మీ వాళ్ల చేతుల్లో పెట్టేందుకు ఎందుకు ప్రయత్నిస్తున్నారు? వెనుకబడిన ప్రాంతాలపై మీకున్న నిర్లక్ష్యానికి ఇంతకంటే నిదర్శనం కావాలా?

జంట సొరంగాలను మేం 2024లోనే సిద్ధంచేస్తే, 26 నెలలపాటు నిర్వాసితుల పునరావాసాన్ని ఎందుకు పూర్తిచేయలేదు? నల్లమలసాగర్‌కు నీటిని ఎందుకు తరలించలేదు? రెండేళ్లపాటు ప్రజలకు అందాల్సిన సాగు, తాగునీటి ప్రయోజనాలను ఎందుకు ఆలస్యం చేశారు?

మ‌రోవైపు నిర్వాసితుల‌కు ఆర్అండ్ఆర్‌ ప్యాకేజీని కూడా పూర్తిగా చెల్లించ‌లేదు. ఇప్ప‌టికే వంద‌లాది కుటుంబాలు త‌మ‌కు పున‌రావాస ప్యాకేజీ కింద అందాల్సిన డ‌బ్బులు అంద‌లేద‌ని, అయినా బ‌ల‌వంతంగా ఊళ్లు ఖాళీ చేయిస్తున్నార‌ని, త‌మ ఊళ్ల‌కు క‌రెంటు క‌ట్ చేశార‌ని, తాగునీటి స‌ర‌ఫ‌రాను ఆపేశార‌ని ఆవేద‌న వ్య‌క్తం చేస్తున్నారు. ఇవేమీ మీకు కనిపించడం లేదా?

.@ncbn garu, will you force junior doctors, who save lives, onto the streets and put the lives of poor patients at risk?

Nearly 9,000 interns, postgraduate doctors, super-speciality doctors and senior residents from 19 government medical colleges across the State have been protesting for the past two weeks. Why have you not responded to them? Why have you withheld the stipend revision that, as per the rules, should have come into effect from January 1?

GO No. 287 provides for a 15 percent increase in the stipend of junior doctors every two years. During our tenure, we went beyond this and increased the stipend by 42.4 per cent. We also recognised those pursuing super-speciality courses as Senior Residents and, considering their request, increased their stipend beyond the prescribed level, resulting in an overall increase of 77 percent. We also increased the stipends of AYUSH junior doctors on par with those of allopathic junior doctors. When junior doctors are seeking an increase of more than 15 per cent, considering rising prices, inflation and the increased cost of living, is it not unfair that you say you will increase their stipends by only 3 to 5 per cent?

Government teaching hospitals depend heavily on the hard work of junior doctors to provide medical services. Now, due to the strike, even emergency services such as casualty, ICUs and labour rooms are being affected, causing serious hardship to poor patients. Is your government's stubborn attitude not responsible for this situation, Chandrababu garu?

Aarogyasri network hospitals are already struggling because of the dues accumulated under your government. On the other hand, you have severely weakened the government healthcare system. In an unprecedented initiative in the country's history, we took up 17 new government medical colleges at one time. We completed five of them and started classes. We also made another medical college ready for classes, bringing a total of six colleges into operation. Instead of completing the remaining colleges, you are trying to sell them off.

As if this were not enough, you have stopped the remaining Nadu-Nedu works in government teaching hospitals and other hospitals. Government hospitals are struggling due to the lack of medicines meeting WHO/GMP standards. You have abandoned the zero-vacancy policy. You are gradually reducing the nearly 50,000 healthcare personnel appointed during our government.

You have weakened the Family Doctor programme. You have removed specialist doctors from Community Health Centres. You have rendered Village and Urban Clinics ineffective. You have severely weakened Aarogyasri and accumulated dues of more than Rs 3,000 crore. The damage you have caused to the public healthcare system is immense. Now, by dealing with junior doctors with the same arrogance, you are pushing even the remaining medical services beyond the reach of poor people.

Chandrababu garu, at least now, give up this arrogance. Immediately invite representatives of the junior doctors for talks and resolve their legitimate demands. Increase their stipends to an appropriate level, bring the strike to an end and ensure that poor patients do not face any inconvenience in government hospitals.
