87MT @ 1.5% from the central area has enabled @pls_global to lift their resource average grade to 1.28% from 1.15%
In the process $PLS dropped 53MT @ 0.7% from their model
Significant achievement to both grow the resource & contained lithia by 14% & 23% respectively

Gotta point out how much time I save with @moneyofminepod's Directors Special free subscription.
It's become morning required reading. Such an excellent roundup of mining news.
Keep up the good work Trav & Jonas. Appreciate you guys!

Much chatter about the upcoming launch of ICE futures exchange settled against @FastmarketsBRM pricing.
I've seen some expect it to result in higher pricing for producers.
Wouldn't that be a case of the tail wagging the dog?
Thoughts on ICE impact on the industry?
#lithium
@DerGoldreport@that_stocks_guy I have it at US$550-750t for Spodumene from the Western Zone (56.5Mt @ 1.09%)
That's a broad estimate, I know. Won't divulge source.
It would place it in the marginal range and potentially loss making at this point in time.

Rodney, agree re forecast CAGR too bearish.
Mt Holland recoveries trending nicely.
Context is required re grade: $SQM sold 16kt Mt Holland SC at auction mid Jan @ 5.58% (misreported by SMM as $ALB Wodgina).
Aus rampup peer $LTR sold avg 5.2% Mar Qtr (5.1 produced).
#Lithium
Production stats from Mt Holland. $WES 50% share FY25 at 140-150kt, below guidance of 150-170kt. Recoveries are improving. 380ktpa is the nameplate. Losses expected at $60M. Assuming 300kt production for CY25 (100%), this is above our forecast. I strongly disagree with the demand chart, which assumes a 15.7% CAGR for energy storage to 2030. We're closer to 30%, resulting in a 500ktpa increase in lithium demand. #lithium
Open question to the X #mining universe.
When was the last time you saw a company refer to their underground strip ratio in a presentation?
@LiontownRes did so & went so far as to compare it to their OP.
#lithium#ASX $LTR
@TR_Saab2002 Wasn't referring to news from the company rather a substantial notice change related to the volume & or news related to that.
As per my OP, Goyder sale already effectively confirmed no company news.
Monster closing auction & post action for $LTR
Over 90m traded for the day. β in the close / post
Meanwhile Liontown Chairman Tim Goyder submitted a change in sub holding for a 13/5 sale = no blackout period in effect
Expect sub notice to fall / news early next week
#Lithium
The #ASX sure took it's time issuing a price query.
I expect $LTR had the response drafted last weekend π€£.
The answers were effectively already provided when the Tim Goyder change of holding was released earlier today.
So as expected, a short and simple NO.

@moneyofminepod Handled it like the pros you are.
Walked the right line of addressing it while maintaining privacy & sharing genuine feelings and respect
Line in the sand conscientiously drawn.
Directors Special is a comprehensive daily must read.
Looking forward to whatever comes next π
@Paul_Winf @LiontownRes I don't buy the tale.
Offtaker pricing is linked to formulas.
Pricing trend also down.
If it were to be true, the only reason I see is that a ceiling were put in place.
If it does turn out to be true then @asicmedia might be interested in you spreading MNPI.
Just a heads up
Ore sorter back on site and running at Liontown' Kathleen Valley.
Spectacular sunset views.
Perhaps @LiontownRes could set up some glamping tents for additional revenue.
How's the serenity

@JohnBro03967377@FreddieYSia@AvzMinerals Point is that it was a done deal without SH approval. SH just rubber stamped it at a latter date.
What would have happened if SH voted no?
