The Borderless Experience will be one of a kind, mark my words (you know how I move when it comes to events) 😌🫵🏾
One number has long shaped African remittance conversations: costs exceed 10%.
But, what if that's more nuanced, and it's leading new entrants to miscalculate their serviceable obtainable market?
If the true economics are actually different and outpacing the popular narratives by the media, does this mean businesses are building on outdated or not-so-valid data ?
What are your thoughts?

Still reflecting on this post I made days ago, let me show y’all something you shouldn’t ignore if you don’t want to lose your relevenace as a marketer pretty fast these days.
A few years ago, marketers could get away with being known for being an expert with one thing specifically.
You were either the SEO person or the social media person, or the content person. Today, that's becoming less and less enough mehn.
In fact, the pace of change is becoming almost impossible to ignore. Just recently, Anthropic rolled out a new AI model, Fable 5, on Claude, and whether you're excited about AI or not, the bigger call-to-notice in this post isn't the model at allllllll; the koko is how quickly the tools, workflows, and expectations around knowledge in this our work continues to evolve.
A marketer who mastered a workflow six months ago may already be discovering that there are now faster, smarter, or more efficient ways to achieve the same outcome… and our employers are watching; of course, they want the better ways to get things done, so its either we move with the wave or we’re swept off.
The marketers getting the most interesting opportunities are often those who understand this reality. They don't wait until they're forced to adapt. They keep expanding their knowledge because they know the market of opportunities rarely stands still.
Recently, I spoke with a marketing professional who already had strong experience in SEO and earns well in 7 figures (naira). Instead of remaining comfortable in that lane, she decided to study Product Marketing and Sales formally at AltSchoolAfrica, this course (https://t.co/FnCLoQk1f4 and she got a discount using the code DMS30).
Her reason was simple: she wanted to better understand what happens before, during, and after a product reaches the need for SEO during GTM campaigns.
That decision may seem small, but that's how many improvement or maybe even career breakthroughs happen. It is not always through a dramatic job change, but through a deliberate investment in becoming more valuable.
The reality is that relevance has become a moving target, not residual experience alone!!!
Every new technology, every shift in consumer behavior, every new platform, and every new AI model is quietly asking professionals the same question:
“Are you still learning?"
So if you're a marketer thinking about your next promotion, next role, or next level of income, don't just ask:
“Who is hiring today?”
Also ask:
“What skills, tools, and knowledge will tomorrow's opportunities require from me?”
The answer to that question might be the next course you take (like my friend above), the next skill you learn, or the next area of marketing you decide to understand, because the market rewards marketers who grow faster than it changes.
If this resonates, share it with another marketer who needs to hear it 🤗
What could have been a simple payment experience became a frustrating one.
These are the issues travellers, businesses, and operators still face across Africa. They need urgent attention, and that's part of the conversations we'll be having at #TheborderlessexperiencebyCondia.
Cross-border payments are critical for African businesses, yet high charges & shaky infrastructure are still unaswered questions.
#TheBorderlessExperiencebyCondia is where operators actively working in the industry will gather to discuss the answers.

My first time worshiping with @cci_ikeja was a nice one.
I got to understand the Bible the right way, and seeing the teachings broken down straight from the Bible made everything clearer and more meaningful.
I looked forward to Church today because of the focus on Bible hermeneutics, and the most interesting part for me was to see how the basic foundation was laid for us to see the WHY behind the new series.
I was thoroughly reminded that the lessons aren’t for head knowledge but a means to the end of spreading the gospel and doing better at the main assignment of God for us as his workmanship.
Thank you today, Pastor Joe Etuk for the amazing lessons today at @cci_ikeja.
This month will be a great one for us all at @cci__global… I look forward to moreeeeee 🔥
Cheers to a great week ahead 🤗
